Are you looking to broaden your Phuket experiences? Here at Phuket Lovin, we’ve got your back. From restaurants to spas to beaches, we explore the island and share our favorite venues with you.
Today, we step away from our typical cafe reviews because it’s time to talk about what we consider the best sauna on the island. No vacation is complete without treating yourself to some pampering, and ViVi Sauna is the place to go.
Read on to find out why we’re sure you’ll love ViVi Sauna.
Welcome to ViVi Sauna
Located in north Rawai, on the way to Naiharn beach, ViVi is a small resort just off the main road.
The address is 30/42 moo 1 district Rawai Nai-Harn Phuket, Phuket 83130 (Google Maps link here). It’s well signposted, and there’s plenty of private parking.
The resort is open 24/7, and the sauna is available daily from 11:00-23:00.
The whole resort comprises hotel rooms, a restaurant, and a sauna. We didn’t stay at the resort, but we visited the sauna to see whether it was as excellent as the Google reviews suggested (Spoiler alert: it was!)
Why We Love ViVi Sauna
Even though it’s just a few meters from the main road, the atmosphere when you step into ViVi is instantly relaxing. The grounds were filled with tropical green plants, chilled background music played, and smiling staff were ready to greet us.
Away from the regular hustle and bustle of Phuket, this was a welcome surprise. The staff talked us through our options, explaining that there is a sauna, steam room, ice bath, pool, an on-site bar and restaurant, and rooms available.
The cost for an entire day was only 150 baht! We spent the day chilling in the resort and making the most of the sauna, steam room, pool, and ice bath. The facilities were clean and modern, and we left the spa feeling rested and relaxed.
Back home in the colder weather, I’ve never appreciated the value of an ice bath; in Phuket, it was an extremely welcome chill!
ViVi encapsulates the traditional expectations for a spa, with added freedom to enjoy yourself at the bar or splash around in the pool at your leisure. For this reason, we’d recommend the resort for families as well as adults.
The resort restaurant offers a mix of Thai and international cuisine at reasonable prices. After a lovely lunch, we treated ourselves to a traditional Thai massage (300 baht/hour) and played pool.
If you want to stay overnight, you get access to all the resort perks included in the price of your room. Although we didn’t look at the rooms, we were told they all have AC, cable TV, WiFi, and a private bathroom.
Remote Working at ViVi Sauna
If you’re staying at ViVi Sauna Resort, you’ll find it’s very conducive to productivity. However, we’d probably rather work in the rooms and then enjoy the facilities during our breaks.
Although there are WiFi and seating areas, there’s limited shade. We’d choose to visit ViVi for a chilled day, rather than working here.
Keeping Up to Date With ViVi Sauna
You can check out ViVi’s Instagram and Facebook pages for all the latest updates, exclusive deals, and news. They also have a website where you can enquire about hotel rooms.

If you’re having trouble adjusting to the hot weather in Phuket, the ice bath will also be a welcome treat!
